Italian Genealogist

Post by italo1975 »

Can anyone recommond me an Italian specialising genelogist. I already know my family tree (names and towns) back to my grandparents (early 1900s) I just would like to pay someone to try and take it further back. I'm willing to consider someone who has had experience in tracing their family history from same town of Morcone or Sassinoro of Benvento. Thanks for reading, regards Italo (currently living in London)

Dear Italo 1975 before you go off paying someone to do research perhaps you want to at least consider doing the simple easy and free way of obtaining the information you are seeking by going to the following website.
http://www.angelfire.com/ok3/pearlsofwi ... earch.html

This website explains in simple terms how to do your own Italian Genealogy Research and that usually goes back to 1809. Perhaps church records for records prior to 1809 might require the use of a local researcher to facilitate the research.

Further we are here to answer any of your questions...who has it better than you??? =Peter=

The time to pay a genealogist is when you hve exhausted the films or don't have access to them or the time to dedicate.
