Luigi Necchi - Alvisa Gayoni

Postby robbann » 29 Apr 2009, 10:56

Hi,

I would like to get some information about my maternal grandparents -

Luigi Necchi b. 1887 d. 1951?
Alvisa Gayoni b. 1887 d, 195?

They had one daughter Rosina also known as Ivana

They lived in Milano and were separated.

Rosina married John Rowlands (UK) in 1949 and they moved to Australia in 1955.

I think my grandfathers parents were -
Nina Necchi & Rosina Necchi I think they lived in Pairana

Grandmother's parents -
Marino Gayoni & Bora Gayoni

I think my great grandmother came from Argentina.

I don't really know whee to start the search for my family history and I don't speak Italian.

If anyone has information or knows where I should look, I'd really appreciate your help :-)

Many thanks, in anticipation!

Annie

Hi Peter,

I clicked on the link you gave me and I got the 'Address Not Found' error. "www.angelfire.com, could not be found." Could you please send it to me again.

I am using Firefox ... does that make a difference?

Thanks for your help so far!

Annie

Thanks Livio. The url is so sensitive that I slipped in a comma instead of a period. I can't wait until the computers become voice operated!! =Peter=

I always use the copy and paste function by highlighting the link and right clicking the mouse, much easier....
