Carmen DeFiore

Postby Miller » 22 Jun 2009, 03:15

I'm new, so excuse any faux pas i will no doubt make.

I'm trying to find out information about my gggrandfather Carmen DeFiore, of Oria, in the province of Brindisi. I don't even know his dates of birth or death. All I know of him is that he married Carmella Mastrogiovanni. Please help!

Welcome to IG, no need to make excuses, we were all new at some point in time!!

Did they immigrate? If so, to which state? Children? Names and birth dates?
Even a year can be helpful.

Thats the thing, they never left Italy. As far as I know, him and his wife died in Oria.

I do know children though:
Felix DeFiore (ggrandfather) - 1878-1970
Mary DeFiore - 1887-1983
Minnie DeFiore - 1888-1946
Patrick DeFiore - 1889-1985
Barbara DeFiore
Demetrio DeFiore
Michael DeFiore
John DeFiore

You can use this interactive form letter to send for request to the town of origin, provide as much information as you have.
The letter to the Stato Civile covers birth, marriage and death, as well as the historical state of the family. This document will record all those present in the household including those who moved away or died.
