Italian Researchers Cost?

Postby iolanda2 » 03 Oct 2009, 14:37

I am interested in finding an Italian Researcher who lives near the border of Le Marche and Romagna.

Wondering if anyone on the forum can recommed someone?

Also, wondering what the typical cost would be for straightforward project, all names and dates are known.

This involves Church registers.

Call the Family History Library in Utah at 801-240-2331 and request listing of professional researchers for that part of North -central Italy. =Peter=

Charges will vary greatly depending on what you are looking for, and how far the researcher lives from the town if you need a personal search, the state of the church records etc.
If the records have been microfilmed this should be less costly as it could be done even without leaving the USA.
