Hello and Welcome to the Forum!
We would be happy to help, but we need to know if you have already conducted any research in US or Italian records.
We wouldn't want to duplicate your work.
Are you interested in US records or direction on how to find Italian records (or both)?

Hey suanj !
It is really hard to tell who is who.
Ancestry has so many Volpa families that may be related in Fresno, especially in the 1920 census. The Volpa/Volpe manifests all seem to be headed to (Fishkill?) NY. I only located one manifest destination San Francisco CA (Andrea).
No doubt our poster can straighten this out .
Alot of info to digest. My adpoted mother was Rosemary or Rosa as on the Census. I have the 1920 and 1930 census. Thanks. I did not have the draft registration card. Elisabeth (Grandma) died in Reno in 1976 and is buried in Fresno as stated. All other Volpa's are cousins of some sort. Vito was Sam's brother. Clara Camaroda (?) was Elisabeth's sister.
Sam and Elisabeth were married in Fresno as far as I can find out. I once thought I saw her as a travel companion on a manafest around 1900 but I could not go back to it. I think she came with her father.
Those are my entries in Ancestry for Sam and Elisabeth (Mamie).
I am also trying to find out when Joe Volpa in the 1920 census died. He is also buried at Calvary in the same grave sites.
Thanks for the hints on Cammarata. I am also looking for the Italian connection (Ancestry) in Maschito.
For Sure Sam and Elisabetta Volpe settled for first in Santa Clara county, possibly in San Jose...
Vito was Sam's brother
From Ancestry.com here is the 1907 arrival manifest for Vito Volpe, from Maschito joining his brother Savino Volpe in NYC, then corrected in San Jose - California
