Issues with Naturalization records

Postby Romano1970 » 02 Nov 2009, 23:19

Hi all.

My grandmother Carmela ( lena ) Romano ( Maiden name NIGRELLI ) was issued a social security card after the death of my grandfather Lorenzo Romano in March 1955.

To rec a SSN# do you need to be nuturalized? I cant locate paperwork in Passaic County NJ for the naturalization at all.

any ideas??

You do not have to be a citizen to get a social security card. Today, you must be here legally to get a SS card.
