Go to www.gens.labo.net/en/cognomi for the surname distribution of Di Mambro in Italy and you willsee the heavy concentrationof Di Mambro in southern Lazio region BUT if you go to www.paginebianche.it and put in Di Mambro in the first line and CAMPANIA region inthe second line you will find there are 23 Di Mambro in the province of CASERTA which is in the Campania region and not Lazio region. Perhaps if you consult with family members and seek out family oral history, stories, old photographs with the date and stamps of where the card came from would help pinpoint the place of origin of your family.

Once we have the place of originthe whole world opens up to you. =Peter=

The Brigida birth surname is FRAGNOLI; well needing almost the probable birthyear of Domenico and after you can ask the birth certificate ( Estratto Atto di Nascita) of "DI MAMBRO Domenico nato a Vallemaio nel... ( birth year) circa, figlio di Giuseppe e FRAGNOLI Brigida" sending the request to:
Ufficio di Stato Civile
Via Martiri Civili 13
03040 Vallemaio (FR)
Italy
letter forms:

best regards,
suanj
PS In the past time, Vallemaio town was called Vallefredda

My nonna is from Vallemaio (she is 97) and her name is Rachele DiMambro. Her mother's name was Serafina FARGNOLI not Fragnoli.
