Desperate for help again

Postby LaBud » 08 Nov 2009, 01:57

I have totally exhausted every means I have to try and locate the Pasquale women that I believe swam to the USA.
If anyone out there can help me find a few of them, I would be truly greatful.

Bambina Pasquale B: 1868 in Prezza, L'Aquila, Abruzzi" married Andrea DiCiocco
With a lot of help from all here, Andrea went to his son Guisseppe's in Conn., however, no signs of his wife Bambina Pasquale ever coming to the USA either to Conn. or Boston, Ma.

Bernadina Forcucci DOB: unknown, married Antonio Pasquale B: 1873 (Bambina's brother)
Antonio 1st came to Boston, Ma. and then settled in the area of Medford, Ma. according to Brother John's records.

I have tried as suggested for the last 2 1/2 months to change the spelling on these women's names with no luck at all.

This is driving me crazy as I have made every attempt to find them.
I am hoping someone here has better resources, brain power, eyesight and patience than me.
I can't move on to finding the other 2 women until I make every attempt to take these bricks down 1st.

Grazie
LaBud

Was Bambina a name to be given at time of baptism? Oftimes people waited to name their child immediately after birth for various reasons here in the USA and perhaps in Italy as well. Have you checked the local churches where she was born if she was indeed borninPrezza? =Peter=

Thankyou so much Peter for your reply.
My Brother John has it as Bambina, however it could be Filomena :?
Yes, she was definitely born in Prezza.
Peter, my original post about Bambina Pasquale is back on Sept. 19th, 2009. Which is where there was a large contribution from many wonderful people here. I don't know how to bring it forward to this one so as to make things more clear.
Val was my Angel on another post. :)

I'm so fried now with trying to find her and her S-I-L Bernadina (?) Forcucci, I'm at a loss. I think I'm about due for a "Rhita"

Grazie Peter

Happy Sunday Deb,
Thanks for pulling those posts up for me. It is much appreciated. :)
The 1st one has nothing to do with the other 2 though. That one is our maternal grandmother Bambina.

The Bambina we are trying to locate is our paternal GF's sister
It's kind of hard to fathom she had 3 kids, and they along with their father Andrea came to the USA and she didn't. :?
That is what is making this so confusing and frustrating. Can you see now why I thin these women swam over?

Again, thanks for your help. I haven't given up yet.

Ciao, LaBud

Do you have any census info that confirms she was in the states or her first name?

Hi MisBris

Thanks for your reply...the answer to your question re: the Census is No.
As for her being here in the States, the answer is yes but we can't find her or her 2 daughters that also came to the USA.

I've changed the spelling a thousand different ways with no luck, which is why we feel her and her S-I-L Bernadina Forcucci swam over.

This is beyond frustrating, as many of you know better than I.

Ciao, LaBud
