A Census Question

Postby sirnim » 12 Nov 2009, 02:08

Hi all,

I've been looking for the US census records of relatives (named Monteleone) from the years 1900 and 1910. I found the 1920 report on my own using the ancestry.com free trial, but that was a few months ago and I've since canceled it after trying in vain to find the reports from 1900 and 1910.

Out of curiosity I went online today and tried a search again, using the same names and same name spelling, and to my surprise I seem to have hit upon interesting results that I was unable to find only a few months ago. I was wondering if anyone would be able to send me a copy of the report image or otherwise provide the data I am now unable to access and view. (I would be most appreciative -- If you would like to e-mail me jpg copies of the reports, send them to sirnim @ gmail.com or just post a link to an uploaded copy of them.)

1) For the 1900 Census:

father Name: Nicola Montolione
mother Name: Angela Montolione
son Name: Beneditto Montolione
City: Providence, Rhode Island

2) For the 1910 Census: (and this is where the names seemed to have been horribly misspelled by the census worker - maybe the search algorithm was improved over the last few months?)

father Name: Nicholas Mandeles
mother Name: Angelina Mandeles
son Name: Benjiman Mandeles
City: Providence, Rhode Island

Grazie mille!

OOps...."there address" should read "their address" (lapse in grammar concentration)
