Hi:
Marani: tipically of north Italy area(Lombardia, Emilia Romagna, Marche regions)..
Marano: tipically of south Italy area..
This surname coming from name various italian towns called Marano..it means inhabitant of Marano.. In shape Marana are traces from 1400 year in Asigliano Veneto (Vicenza province-Veneto region) of an noble family Marana.
Maraccini: currently are very small presence in Tuscany and Sicily. Maraccini is a version diversified in the time of initial Maracci surname present sure in 1449 year in Sannazzaro de' Burgundi town(Pavia province-Lombardia region). The surname Maracci derive from trade of chisel (the "maracci" are chisels of sculptors).
