I have recently found out that my Grandfather came to the states through Chicago ... does anyone know the website address to look up his ship manifest?

Considering the paucity of information which you presented tyhe best suggestion is to file form 81 with NARA (Passenger arrivals record). You cna obtain the form through www.genealogylookups.com/narchives.htm and put in as much information as you can. The form 81 covers the entire USA so whether he came in thru NYC or Chicago and tghere is a record this will be it!! Peter
