historical photos of Bisceglie, Trani, Cerignola & San F

Postby adalea » 28 Dec 2009, 22:24

Does anyone happen to know where I can find photos of the towns of Bisceglie (in the Bari province) of italy, as well as Trani. Also of Cerignola & San Ferdinando di Puglia in the Foggia province?

I'm simply looking for images that will show what the towns looked like in any of the years between the mid 1700's and 1900. Also, clothing worn between those times as well.

warm regards,

You can try to locate village scenes in the respective websites found in these townhs and villages by name.

Go to www.nonsolocap.it and put inthe name ofr the town and click Cerca and whenthe town zipcode, name, province initals and region put your pointer on the town name and click and upwillspring anadminstrative website with a map, current government leadership, town statistics and then clickonthe www with the town name for tourist information which many will have scenes and panaoramas of what the towns looked like for the period in question which will give you an idea. Pictures of people dressed for that period may be hard to come by and may require further research by you. =Peter=
