For those who need documents from Abruzzo. The state archive that was in L'Aquila has been moved to Sulmona.

L'Aquila suffered a horrible earth quake a April of 2009. The building holding the archive was destroyed.

"The culture ministry said the operation will involve recovering around four kilometres of shelves of manuscripts, books and rare documents, which will be taken to the state archives in the Abruzzo town of Sulmona for safe-keeping."

Please also note that many buildings were destroyed and 300 people died in the earthquake. Please keep these families in your prayers.
