Can you provide some additional detail? Did he immigrate? To which country?
If here in the U.S., which state did he reside in?

Pesaro is both a city and a province....was he born in the province of Pesaro or the city of Pesaro?

By including as much information on the person in question, members can better direct your search.

Not too many Ballerini in Pesaro, perhaps this will help.

misbris thanks for your help!

I guess its back to snail mail here for this one. I am trying to use such sites as facebook and that as well.

One thing I have found or better yet not found is any information on either the mother's or wife's family names.

If you use facebook let me know and I can share the story behind this search much easier with you

I don't use Facebook myself, but my nieces and nephews have found their Italian cousins in that way. We were able to track down many of the younger generation, and visited them when we went to Italy this summer.
It was easy because our family name is pretty rare, so everybody has some sort of connection.

How tro contact them in the most efficient way? draft one letter that you can send to everyone and make copies of same and just keep mailing them as you go along to the addresses you come come across.

Also trace the surname Ballerini thruout the world going thru www.numberway.com by country of interest to you. Those with first names that run in your family may be of interest to you since first names tend to stay with families. =Peter=
