Ciao Roberto,

Grazie e calorosi saluti. Roberto

My grandfather, Ignazio Lopresti was born in Monreale, Sicily in 1878, son of Vito and Antonina Venturella Lopresti. Ignazio came to New Orleans, LA in 1903. Two of his brothers, Antonio and Angelo came to the United States, port of New York on 23 February 1913, on the SS Canada. Antonio is listed as single, Angelo lists a wife at home, Mary Grace Lopresti. Mary Grace arrived in New York 20 December 1913. She had two children with her:Antonio, age 5 and Teresa, age 4. They were listed as going to Ohio to meet husband, Angelo. At some point in time, they all went to New Orleans, probably because other family was there. I believe he returned to Sicily with the older children after she and the twins died.
Is this the same family you were researching?
I have collected information which I would share if you are interested. I live in California, USA, speak no Italian so must depend on the Google translation, which is awkward.

Hello , I'm sorry if I answer only now . I left out the research of my family because I did not have any more information . Yesterday I received an email of the site Italian Genealogy and I could read with amazement your information. The names which you have named are the same that are part of a family connected to my own. Very interesting to know more information in order to complete some genealogical branches . The same may hold true for te.Qui to follow will mark the branches of the family genealogical Lo Presti .
Vito and Antonina Venturella have had children: St. Ignatius , Angelo and Antonio . Angelo and Maria Grazia Lo Vecchio had children : Antonina , Teresa Vito , Carmela , Simon and France (the latter two are twins who both died on the same day of birth, as recorded on the act of death that I requested in the U.S.) . Antonina Lo Presti and Angelo Madonia ( my father's brother Joseph ) had children : Josephine, Grace, Anna , Joseph. So your great-grandfather was Vito . If you can send me other information linking Vito and Ignatius Pat D'Anna . If you need more information let me know. Thank you and best regards.
