Looking for Rossillo

Postby donburt » 25 Mar 2010, 22:18

My mother's maiden name is Rossillo. They emigrated to New York in the early part of the 20th Century from the Minturno/Castelforte area. My grandfather's name was Gilbert and was one of 4 brothers: Alex, Jimmy, Gilbert, Alfred. They all were raised in the NY area.

Does anyone out there know anything about this branch of my family tree?

By the way, here is the second side of that sheet, showing the Oath of Allegiance. Luigi's citizenship was complete when the Oath was administered, April 1, 1940.

The Certificate Number is the same thing as the "C-File" which you can use to request the rest of the documents from USCIS - http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/ ... 18190aRCRD
