Where to now?

Postby 3lups » 05 Apr 2010, 23:27

How are all my favorite helpers today?

I have exhausted my Termini Database search and have reached the period between 1790-1810.

What is my next step? Should I request copies of my oldest record to see if there is a place of birth etc?

How do I get past Sicily? How do I find older records?

Any suggestions?

Maybe I will be like Brooke Shields and end up French :) Kidding

There are the riveli or tax census records for the town. See the LDS website and the library catalog for your town for a listing of what microfilms are available. There are gaps in the years in which these were done, plus they can be extremely difficult to read.

The following website has some from the 1815 census for your town. The census goes back to the 1500s.
