Pauline Paradiso

Postby tracey326 » 24 Apr 2010, 23:07

I have posted already on surnames, but I am particularly interested in finding out about my great-great grandmother, Pauline Paradiso. She never came over from Italy, to my knowledge. She was from the San Giorgio la Molara section of Campania, Naples. I don't have any other information then that. Is there anyone that can help me please? Thank you!

What is it that you hope to learn?

My Aunt Pauline's real name was Pasqualina; the same may apply to your great-great-grandmother as "Pauline" is not an Italian name.

Since you know where se was born and lived, and can estimate the year of her birth +/- 5 years (?), you may be able to request her birth, marriage, and death certificates from her comune.

Is that where your interest is, or are you looking for other info?

I would like to learn all of that but also maybe who her parents are, which if I can get a birth certificate would be on there, and just see if what little information I have is correct. She seems to be the most unknown of my family tree. I am going to try the suggestion of the name difference. I never thought to do that before. Thank you for your help!

I will try that too! Pasqualina came up with some hits but I don't think any are her. I will try Paolina now! Thanks!
