SOLARO-need help with this last name

Hello i am new to this forum,glad i founded trying to find out some history about my family partuculary about my last name SOLARO i know there is a place/town by Milan named SOLARO but thats all what i was able to find out

i guess that the name is pretty rare i am trying right now to locate the exacte place of orgin

my grandpa told me once before he died one of our ancestor was some kind of a count or a barron but not realy sure was he trying to impress me or what

If you're just starting out on your search, it's best to start with yourself and work backwards thru your family using clues you find to identify your immigrant ancestor

no we didnt immigrated in usa
the story that i have is that two brothers moved from Italy to Serbia and opend a bank of some sort around 1750-1800
unfortunatley Serbia dosen't have any immigration records for that time period
only records are held by the churches or monasteries but they where all destroyed durring WWII so i dont have any documents
