state of the family request...

Postby corrado » 05 May 2010, 03:02

Has any one made one of these, how much does it cost. I would like it for my great great grandfather say like for 1885. Is that possable? My great grandfather came to the usa, I can trace their steps once they got here. Who is left behind?

Yet another one of those things that I requested from my ancestral comune with no response whatsoever. I even included a photocopy of the inside pages of my Italian passport and still nothing.

Four months and not even a "sorry, we are very busy" apology...

I think some villages have them. Some churches may have been destroyed by war, so it would be difficult to find information if that happened.
My family sent me a family tree in 2005. I was told they did not have a historical state of the family record. (in Treviso) I recieved a copy of a church marriage record, and a detailed list of the old farm (now part of an airport) I am stuck in Nervesa della Battaglia because of World War One.

The state of the family requrires that the comune have an anagrafe, and my town started one in 1929, so prior to there there is no state of the family record.
