Hi,
I'm new to this board and and I'm looking for any info on the following families:

Sirianni from Sambiase, Calabria
Manzo from Salerno, Campania
Ventullo from Taurasi, Avellino
Vozella, Lapio,

These are all my ancestors and they all immigrated to the US and settled in Boston, Massachusetts and surrounding areas. I have first names and birth dates on all. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Forum!
We would all be happy to help :D .
Do you have any of your family's census records or ship manifests?
We wouldn't want to duplicate your research.
If you want help with US records we'll need first names, etc.
If you want assistance on how to find Italian records we can help direct you.
Thank you, Valarie

Hi Valarie,
I do have census records, but, only from the time they were in the US and I do have ship manifests and names and birth dates. I have a family tree on ancestry.com. Can I somehow copy the info from family tree to this site?

Since you have your US records, you may want to write to your family's comune?
Would you like us to check the Family History Library catalog to see if microfilm is available?

Valarie,

Thanks so much for the information. It was very helpful. The Salerno address is for the province, not the town but I will look it up on the website you gave me. When I mail the letters do I mail them regular mail with a regular stamp on them? I've never mailed anything overseas so I don't know how this all works.

Thanks so much again
Gail

Hi Gail!
I'm so glad we could help
I would ask at your post office about the postage
Also, including a return envelope would probably be appreciated by the comune
