Thanks so much for the help! Im still trying to find out the death dates or obits for Rosario & Mary Michel. I saw the name spelling on the death certificaates, on the marriage record I have for Jennie and Salvadore has her last name as something other than Michel. I cant really make it out very well but it could be her madien name.

Mary Schealone
Mary Schaliona

What other surnames could this have been confused with? Can you make out the last name on the marriage certificate on page 1?

what could a variation be of this last name? The census records states shes and Rosario were from Italy but I cant seem to find what her last name could have been and where possibly they were from. Im almost positive they were married in Italy and moved here together so I have been searching for naturalization records or manifest

my two cents:
Rosario italian surname most probably is MICELI.. (rare possibility: MICHELI)

Maria/mary surname: SCALONE or SCICOLONE or SCICHILONE...SCAGLIONE??

most probably both coming from Sicily..
all the best,
suanj

Thank you suanj!
This should be a huge help
I thought since they probably arrived in New Orleans that they may be from Sicily
