Maria Lucia Girardi

Postby peterrjacobson » 03 Jun 2004, 15:02

I am looking for Maria Lucia Girardi , born in San Marco, who married
Matteo Iannantuoni, also from San Marco. They had a son Giuseppe
Iantuoni, born October 15, 1891 in San Marco. Giuseppe Married Florence
Stasio who was born in Boston, her parents (Anthono V. Stasio and Anne
Mauro) were born in Italy but I do not know where.
These are my daughter in law's ggparents but her Italian side has been
hiding from me so far.
Thanks from a Swedish / Norse descendant.

In Italy all records are int eh town of origin. Since San Marco is numerous in Italy having another name attached to it you need to know what province or region the San Marco you are discussing is located. Peter

There are two San Marco in Foggia province. One is lamis and the other is la catola. Eirther way their civil records go back to 1809. Either write to the correct town for birth records if you have full names and year of birth to obtain parents names or go to the nearest mormon family history library where you reside and rent out the microfilm for the civil records. Its not much money and you can trace all the way back to 1809. WWW. familysearch.org. Peter

Lisagrosso look again under www.nonsolocap.it and select Puglia and Foggia in the lower left and see both San marco in Foggia province. =Peter=
