Hello

I have just joined this forum and I hope I am posting my question in the right forum!!!

I am very interested to start my family tree and would like to know how do I go about looking for my surname - PALMIERI ?????

I live in South Africa so any advice would be welcome

The dates in UK go back to about 1861, and majority of Palmieri's are in London. (some in Liverpool).
Have yo got any names?

there are many Palmieri from Campobasso region on Ancestory.com. you could also try familysearch.org. happy hunting:)

Palmieri is listed in the Italian surname dictionary and is spread thruout Italy as a result of the crusades and France starting inthe 12th century starting withthe French PALMIER and spread south to Italy .

To find the specifics of your family you might let us know from where in Italy did your ancestors originate or immigrate from inItaly to South Africa? =Peter=
