Notation of death record

Postby lilbees » 23 Sep 2010, 16:28

Boy am I confused......on the death record for Gaetana de Cristofaro it shows her husband as Antonio Agnone with Salvatore as deceased. Can't make sense of the notation on the record nor can I find a 2nd marriage record for her or him.

Can someone look at this for me?

The notation says:
According to the verdict issued by the tribunal of Naples on August 14, 1912, the sentence "Moglie di Antonio Agnone = Wife of Antonio Agnone" must be changed in "Vedova di Salvatore Discolo e Moglie in seconde nozze di Antonio Agnone = Widow of Salvatore Discolo and wife, due to a 2nd marriage, of Antonio Agnone".

Thanks Livio. So, just the wording is changed. I do appreciate that. Now I just have to find the 2nd marriage.
