We are looking for Giraloma and Maria Badaracco believed to be from Italy, Genova, Rovegno - We believe they immigrated to US in the 1850's. Giraloma birth around 1825 and Maria around 1827. We have a
marriage record from 1877 in St. Louis, MO of their son Dominico Badaracco (born in US) stating they were from Rovegno, mandamen di Bobbie, Italy. (Not sure of the spelling on the word mandamen)

Italian Record Research (please excuse the length of this post)

Your nearest Family History Center can order records for Rovegno on microfilm.
The cost is about $5.50 mo (rent), you’ll need to go to the center to order & view them.

Church Records 1645-1928
Registri ecclesiastici di Rovegno (Genova), 1645-1928 Chiesa cattolica.
Parrocchia di Rovegno (Genova)

These won't be much help unless you can identify family left in Italy

Civil Records 1866-1910
Registri dello stato civile di Rovegno (Genova), 1866-1910 Rovegno (Genova).
Ufficio dello stato civile

In case you aren’t familiar with the Family History Center & Italian records

FamilySearch Home Page
Includes how to find your nearest local Family History Center
You may want to call first to verify the hours they're open.
Most centers are staffed with very helpful volunteers.

I am attaching the marriage record we have on the Domenico Badaracco and Luigia Moscone Sept 16, 1877.

Can you tell us what the ex loco is - We believe it starts Rovegno (____________) of Bobbio, Italy. We can not make out the word or words between.

Thank you for any help you can give us.
