Since you obviously want to conduct research on both names why don't you go to the nearest family history library of the mormon churhc and rent out the micorfilm of the civil records of birth, smarriages and deaths for each town. You can then researchg your entire family back to 1809 when such records were commenced to be recorded. If you wish to locate present relatives then go to www.paginebianche,it and insert the surname in the first line and the town in the third line and click CERCA to seek out possible relatives. Don't forget to go thru www.ellisisland.org website for arrival information into the uSA as immigrants. Peter
