Gurian Family

Postby danielcoutinho » 23 Nov 2010, 11:59

I am trying to find info on Giuseppe Bortolo Gurian.
What I know is that he was born in a comune in Provincia di Treviso, in 25th March 1867. His parents are Domenica Morosini and Di Giovani.
I'd like to learn where exactly he was born, and try to ask for his birth certificate, and even his marriage certificate.
He was married with Anna Lucchesi, born in 30th December 1870.
He was the grandfather of my grandmother, so I'm trying to learn my Genealogy.
Thank you very much!

Welcome to the forum! A few questions, did he immigrate and where to?
Have you placed him on any records, and if so, which records?
Can you provide the name of his children, and birthyear...all of this makes it much easier for members to locate the right family, and focus on records which you have yet to obtain. :D

Hello wldspirit! Thanks for the quick response!
I've found him here: http://www.emigrazioneveneta.com/datato ... ttoncino=G
He immigrated to Brazil. He had a brother called Pietro Antonio Gurian, born in 14th August 1869, who immigrated to Brazil as well.
I know one of his sons is Joao Guido Gurian, but I'm not sure about his birthyear, and I don't know of any other children of Bortolo. I'll look for that.
Thanks.
