I am new to this, so any help you can give is very much appreciated!
My husband will be traveling to Lucca, Italy in a few months, where his ancestors are from. Specifically, his great-grandfather's name is Joseph (probably Giuseppe at birth) Giusti and he was born in/around Lucca in 1888. He eventually immigrated to the US.
Any suggestions on how to find living relatives in Italy or ways we trace back where he lived when he was in Lucca, etc would be greatly appreciated
When you say Lucca I presume you mean the city of Lucca and not a small surrounding town or village. This is because the family History Libvrary of the Mormon church earest your home has the micorfilm for Lucca, Lucca dating from 1866 to 1910 and addresses will show up in the births, marriages and death records for Lucca in that time frame.
