The cardinal ruyle is to work backward from the USA to Italy. If you are serious about research then there is an excellent book titled Italian genealogical records by Trafford R, Cole or there is a companion book for the micrfoilms at family histgory library, Discovering Your Italian Ancestors by Lynn Nelson. If you wishj to trace the family in the city of Rimini and not the provincial surrounding villages and towns of which the province of Rimini is composed of, then you wil need full names and year of birth since all records and docuemtns are int he town of origin. Please advise if this is the case; that Rimini is the place of birth for these surnames. Unfortunately Rimini does not have any civil records for births, marriages and deaths on micrfoilm. Peter

You might also want to go to www.google.com and insert the surname and the word genealogy for anyone who researched the surname you select in the title and such reference will appear. Peter
