Hi,
Where did Michelangelo settle? Did he settle in the USA? If so, did you check Ellis Island for information? The link is www.ellisisland.org

Also, there is microfilm at the Family History Center. The link for it is below.
http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library ... o+civile++

If the link doesn't work, go to www.familysearch.org and then click on Family History Catalog and then click on place search and type in the Town you are looking for.

You can also browse the site to find the closest Family History Center near you. The Family History Center is run by the Mormom Church. They allow you to rent the microfilm for about $3.50 for 30 days. They do have film for your town from 1910-1809. Just remember, the microfilm is in Italy.

Also, if Michelangelo came to the USA, don't forget to get look him up in the Federal Census. The Census gives clues to when people were married, when they came to the USA, even states when they were naturalized.

Don't forget to obtain any document you can so that you such as death certificates. You need proof of names to bring you to the next generation.

I hope this is all of a help to you.

Have a good one.

Hi

Well my Father (Michaelangelo) settled here in the US, we have all his information.. We are trying to track down any information on his parents, (my grandparents) Pasquale Fusaro and Anna Ferrara (her maiden name). My grandparents both died when my father was very young and I do not know any information about them. His parents were from Corato in Bari. Any help you can give would be great....THANKS

I'm from Trani "it's a town near Corato" and I've read casually your help question about your Grandfathers Pasquale Fusaro and Anna Ferrara.

Have you gotten some information currently?

If you have not had information, write me all the identity data that eventually you’ve about yours Grandfathers and if you haven’t these, write me the birth date of your Father Michelangelo and where he was born.

Well, I will try of to help you but I don't assure the positive result.

I wait your news (my E-mail: PASCONUOVO72@HOTMAIL.COM).
Regards from Puglia (Italy)
