Can't find a manifest for

Postby rancelli » 27 Jul 2011, 19:03

This Angela Rosa Mastroberti woman for the years 1905 to 1906. I assume she came around this time with her son Domenico Buccella, because in 1905 it says that her husband Francesco was going to Hillsville, PA. The record for 1905 doesn't list Angela Rosa Mastroberti or son Domenic. I know I keep bringing up the same people, but this was the only family that really left any clues on where they were going. How do I find these records if they're not searchable at Ellis Island?? Are there other ports of entry that have websites where you can search for ancestors?

I know this isn't much help, but have you seen this manifest from 1903?
They are listed, but either did not sail, or are listed somewhere else on the manifest...

They were also crossed off a manifest for the SS Konig Albert arriving NY 10 April 1904...

haha but they weren't going to PA!!!! lol i'm guessing that francesco may have met up with her in ny before moving back to pa?? and vito is not in any of my records!! so if these are my ancestors the only thing i can come up with, is that vito died at an early age. he's not listed in the 1920 census :?

my guess vitea in the obit should have been victor. i believe they misspelled his name. also clara must have died before 1920, because she's not listed in the 1920 census. the problem is i can't find a census for these people in 1910 to see the names of the children who were living at that time :(

I know... I have also done extensive search but am not finding 1910 Census... Name must be VERY misspelled :-(
