Centanni family in Italy

Postby Mirella79 » 23 Aug 2011, 15:27

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for Francesco Centanni or anyone who knows who or where he might be.

All I know off him are the next few things;

He was born somewhere in nov 1947, we believe in a little town called Ascoli Pecino, but I know he was born with the name Salvatori Centanni and why he was or is called Francesco I don't know.
He was maaried to a dutch lady (Cisca Witte) on 31-01-1983, in Rome and they had a baby boy on the 14th of sep in 1982.

When they got divorced I don't know, but I know that she and their baby left Italy and that's about it.
I would love to hear from you any suggestion or info how i can find more about how to locate Francesco Centanni.

Thank you for reading and looking forward for any reactions from you.

Regards, Mirella

There is currently one person named Francesco Centanni with a Rome telephone listing. See http://www.paginebianche.it/execute.cgi?iq=&ver=default&font=default&btt=1&mr=10&rk=&om=&qs=francesco+Centanni&dv=&l=en

It would not hurt to write a letter, in Italian, and ask if he is the person you are seeking. Centanni is not a very common name in Italy (271 telephones throughout Italy, 20 in Rome), so there is a reasonable chance...

There is also a single listing for Centanni in Ascoli Piceno. You may want to contact her as well.

On Facebook you can find a Francesco Centanni who resides in Italy and may be about the correct age - http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000913002820&sk=info

Thank you for all the suggestions :)
I did find a few Centanni's on facebook and contacted 2 of them.
Also I did find the Francesco in Rome but the phonenumber listed isn't right.
And the Centanni in Ascoli Piceno owns a B&B but before I contact them, I would like to find out more about the history about the Centanni family there, if possible.

Thank you for helping and I'll keep you posted bout my findings :)

I see that there is a vinyard/winery owned by the Centanni family located in Montefiore dell’Aso, Ascoli Piceno.

I am curious about the Rome telephone: do you mean that it is not in service, that it rings to the wrong person, or was there some other problem?

Well, it took 2 years, but we found Francesco in Italy.

Out of the blue we got a letter from him, saying he was looking for us as well.
Only one problem, he doesn't speak or write english, but fortnaly I found someone who can translate for us.

He still lives in Ascoli Piceno, but for now that's all we know.
