If your sure of the town of birth San Severo go to Family History Library
and rent the film records San Severo (Foggia), 1809-1905 Births, deaths, marriages, marriage banns, miscellaneous documents, marriage documents, citizenship records. You can get alot of family info with those records

A correct Italian spelling for Camaratta could be "Cammarata".

Thanks Pippo, I know from my research that there are so many different spellings but it is good to know the correct Italian spelling.
