Ezio Brunicardi

Ezio Brunicardi was born at Bagni Di Lucca, Italy April 2, 1885. Ezio emigrated to the United States from Havre France on April 14, 1909 arriving at the port of New York on the vessel Chicago. He fought in World War I. He married Assunta Martinelli and had two sons and a daughter (my grandmother.)
It would be amazing to find out more information about him!

In looking at your Family Tree on Ancestry I noticed that you have the US Passport application for Ezio. However, I didn't see a link to the second page.
Sooo, just in case you don't have it... here it is.

Assigns Comment: Headquarters Company 333 Infantry to 16 Nov 1918; Provisional Battalion 329 Infantry to 24 Dec 1918; 2 Battalion 329 Infantry to 27 Dec 1918; Labor Battalion 3 Provisional Regiment Forwarding Camp American Emb Center to 23 Apr 1919; Co D Headquarters Battalion Army Service Corps American Emb Center to 1 July 1919; Headquarters Company 333 Infantry to Discharge Private American Expeditionary Forces 2 Sept 1918 to 26 June 1919. Based on the infantry regiments listed above, Ezio served in the 83d Infantry Division which was an Ohio Army unit. The 83d was deactivated after the First World War and reactivated in August of 1942. When it was reactivated it was made up of draftees from all over the US: my Dad was one of those who served in the 83d during WWII--SSgt Samuel J. Bifano, B Battery, 324th Field Artillery Battalion.
