Italian Surnames

Postby eaglepro » 28 Apr 2012, 19:48

Can anyone provide information if there are there Jewish roots to the following Italian surnames: Farese, Falcone, Petruzzinia, Caffarelli and Cantarella?
My heritage is found in Messina, Sicily, Genoa and Avollini (outside of Naples).

Apparently a DNA test will tell you if you have a Jewish marker on your DNA.
