Can I obtain birth certificates in person? [Avellino]

Postby snyamathi » 01 Jun 2012, 04:41

I'm going to be traveling to Italy this summer and want to know if I can get my grandparents birth certificates from the city itself. My grandfather was born on December 2nd, 1923 in Avellino and I have copies of his naturalization papers and such.

Is this possible? Thanks!!
