Antonetta Mangini

Postby Inky777 » 04 Jun 2012, 22:36

I found this info but not sure if this could be her? I know mispellings are common back then and some dates off a little:

Surname Given Name Age Month Day Year Certificate# County Born FHL roll#

Mangone Antonietta 10 y Jul 14 1909 21515(1909) Manhattan 1898 - 1899 1323221

See, we're still trying to figure what happened to Antonetta...she is on the 1900 and 1905 Census...in 1905 she was 8...but don't know what might have happened to her...any way to find out?
I know later, my wife's Grandfather Frank (born 1905 as Frank J Mangini), his last name became Mancini...the 'g' went away and replaced with a 'c'...but his lifelong nickname was Mangi...maybe for Mangini?

Thanx...

You will probably need to send away for the record (for a fee)

Here are some other possibilities... Marriage records in New York.
Obviously the 1906, 1907 and 1908 would NOT be her...
For the ones in red, I have also listed the groom's name :-)

Mancini Antonetta Jul 1 1906 16891 Manhattan

Mancini Antonietta Apr 28 1935 8390 Manhattan
DiSano Francis Apr 28 1935 Manhattan 8390

Mangini Antenetta Nov 9 1907 28967 Manhattan
Mangini Antonetta Apr 26 1908 8523 Manhattan

Mangini Antonetta Jan 14 1928 1163 Manhattan
Pisotti Carlo Jan 14 1928 Manhattan 1163

Thanx Luca :)

Hey Suanj, I was checking what you put, please forgive me, I can't read Italian...is there a way you can paste here in English what you had the link for? Also, are there any pix of the Registration Cards and Census things?

Wow, you folks may have found her :)....would like to know though why the family never mentioned her? :/
Unless something happened and they disowned her? Does that happen in the Italian families?

EDIT:
Hi again, I tried Registering at the site you gave me but having a problem with inserting an amount on the Spam box...I was using Bing Translator to help me lol...not too bad...so hopefully someone writes me back on what to input on the Spam box and I'll be registered there...:)

Yes, this is the right lady...

How did you think to connect her to a Russomanno?

My wife remembers a Robert Russomanno married to a Rose Russomanno...so we're wondering, could Robert be a son to Daniel or Francis? Making Robert a Grandson of Antonetta?

Thanx for the linx to pics...is there anyway to make them bigger? We click the linx and they come up small...when ya try to enlarge them, they get blurry...we only have Photo Suite and it doesn't help...any suggestions? We'd like to read these better and possibly print them for our records...

Thanx again for finding this info, it's a BIG help...appreciate you folks...

Robert Russomano was a son to Ralph and Anna...

Went to my inlaws on June 15, went through some Italian family photos and found a pic of ANNA and her Mother Maria Scarpella, w00t!! The ONLY KNOWN photo of Maria...how cool...

Reason Anna was hush hush was because she was a Klepto, that's all...

Thanx so much for all the help you provided...appreciate it...:)
