Giuseppe Arnone

Postby brett chamberlain » 09 Jul 2012, 13:49

I am trying to trace my grandfather Giuseppe Arnone who was a POW in England, i have got his POW records from the International Red Cross along with his home adress before the war, i forwarded this to the British Red Cross who then informed me they only had one listing who had passed away in Huddersfield, after speaking to the Arnone family in Hudersfield it turns out not to be my grandfather so I can only think he must have returned to Sicily.

can some advise what would be the best way dealing with the Italian system?

Many Thanks

Brett

Do you think it would be worth trying the red cross again?
