Aidone Sicily

Postby Romano1970 » 20 Jul 2012, 16:37

Is there anyone on site who has had luck / or has relatives from Aidone Sicily. My great Grandfather ROMANO Salvatore Filippo was born there but I have not had too much luck getting any information to the comune via email and hand written.

Have you tryed the Archivio did Stato di Enna

The fund LISTS OF LEVERAGE IN THE PROVINCE OF ENNA collects lists of leverage related to male citizens who were called to the visit of the lever. The classes documented are included in the period 1840-1934. For each member shall be recorded maternity, paternity, residence, occupation, somatic data and the outcome of the visit (skilled, reformed, postponed). The sources are listed and subject to periodic deployments.
Mike did he serve in Italy? If he did they would his liste di leva military record with his birth info.
