I am planning on creating a book on the ancestry of my grandmother, Flora D'Agata. However, I am having trouble finding details of her parents lives. I know that Gabriel was born around 1894 in Italy and died around 1980. His partner but never his wife was my grandmother's mother, Ida Bellarosa. She lived 1889-1973. I know that they emigrated to the USA -->Canada-->Baltimore-->Massachusetts. I mainly would like to know who their siblings/parents were. Thanks for the help!
Welcome to the Forum ! We would be happy to help. Do you have any US records for Gabriel Pacione and Ida Bellarosa? Many US and Canadian records can contain clues to their town(s) of origin in Italy. Since Italian records are kept at the comune (town) level, you would need to know where they were from to find records for their parents and siblings (unless they also emigrated to the US) Valarie
If these records belong to your g grandparents, Gabriel Pacione and Ida Bellarosa, you can order their SS Applications for $27 each. The applications should include their parents' names and places of birth.
Name: Gabriele Pacione SSN: 033-09-xxxx Last Residence: 01841 Lawrence, Essex, Massachusetts Born: 22 Jan 1894 Died: Oct 1980 State (Year) SSN issued: Massachusetts (Before 1951)
Name: Ida Pacione SSN: 017-40-xxxx Last Residence: 01843 Lawrence, Essex, Massachusetts Born: 13 Jan 1888 Died: Sep 1973 State (Year) SSN issued: Massachusetts (1965-1966)
The SS-5, or Application for Social Security Number is a great resource for learning more about individuals who died after about 1960, and generally includes the following: - Full name - Full name at birth, including maiden name - Present mailing address - Age at last birthday - Date of birth - Place of birth - Father's full name - Mother's full name, including maiden name - Sex - Race as indicated by the applicant - Whether the applicant ever applied for Social Security or Railroad Retirement before - Current employer's name and address - Date signed - Applicant's signature
Please Note: ... under our current policy, we do not release the parents’ names on an SS-5 application unless the parents' are proven deceased, have a birth date more than 120 years ago, or the number holder on the SS-5 is at least 100 years of age.

That will certainly help in your search thru Italian records
If you think your g grandparents may be from Ofena, your nearest Family History Center can order civil records for Ofena on microfilm. The cost is about $6 mo (rent), you’ll need to go to the center to order & view them.
Title: Registri dello stato civile di Ofena (L'Aquila), 1809-1910 Authors: Ofena (L'Aquila). Ufficio dello stato civile (Main Author) Notes: Births, marriages, deaths, marriage documents, banns, miscellaneous documents. Include indici annuali. ---
And, just in case you aren’t familiar with the Family History Center & Italian records
