Birth Certificate From Florence Issues

Postby y2kdread » 16 Sep 2012, 23:21

Hi Everyone,

I wrote a letter to the "Archivio Di Stato Di Firenze" trying to request a birth certificate of my Grandma. I got a response telling me that they only keep records up to 1865 and she was born in 1923. Does anyone know what organization I would need to write to in order to get the birth certificate?

Also, my grandma also got married in Florence and I am having a hard time finding a place to contact in order to get her marriage certificate. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Comune di Firenze
Ufficio Corrispondenza
Palazzo Vecchio
Firenze, 50122
for both birth and marriage records after 1865. Be sure to include photo ID and your relationship.
