Piccarello and/or D'Alessandro

Post by Mandoli »

Working on a family tree for a few years now, and I'm kind of stuck on my grandmother's side of the family. I know her great-grandparents came from (or remained in) Italy, but that's as far as I can tell.

According to obituaries from her aunts and uncles, the great-grandmother's name is Philamena (known as Minnie) Piccarello. She immigrated around 1900. Her great-grandfather is Michael D'Alessandro (possibly I'Alessandro, based on information I found last year).

Sorry for a lack of information, but I'm hoping someone can shed some light on the piece of history that I can't seem to uncover. Thanks in advance.

My grandfather was Patrick Piccarello and my grandmother was Evelyn. They had 3 other children beside who is listed. My father Ervin Piccarello, Barbara Archer, and Lois Logan. My father and his brother both died last year on 4/8/13. I also know some of the D'Alessandro's and Franklin's.
