Hi Tyler,

All my mother's relatives came from Bagheria and I can trace them to about the 1720's. I am sure they go back even farther but records are hard to come by before that date. I traveled to Bagheria and drove the poor clerks in the records office crazy but they were sweet. They won't let you take pics of the records and they just fill out some form with some basic information on it so I would go with familysearch.org as well. Also, I don't know if you have ancestry.com but if so, you are welcome to go to my family tree--it is public (Carollo-Leverso). I also have Tripoli's in my family (Maria Tripoli was my great-great-great grandmother--she was married to a Carollo). I have never been able to figure out where the name Tripoli came from, however (Libya? Greece?). That is what I am currently working on.

Anyway, hope my family tree can help a little!
