Thank you, You don't see any Giovannian born to Santi Dastro and Carmela Dandrea? from Santa Margherita Messina? you said that you looked in de belice I order some documents on her so let's see who were her parents. I feel one day I will find who the old women in the old photo.
Do you have a web site in Messina where I can post old photo's?

I searched the above records in a italian website and the records are all in order very well; as you know Messina have so many hamlets, and I searched in Santa Margherita, so no problem... but on italian website the records arriving until 1865 and for others records after 1865 need of to search in this collection:
Villaggi di Messina (Messina villages/Hamlets)
https://familysearch.org/search/image/i ... %3D1967753

and no index of villages so it is very hard to find Santa Margherita...
You can try by yourself...
abt Santa Margherita in Belice is a town in Agrigento province and your ancestors coming from Messina-Santa Margherita... are 2 differents localities ...
so Santa Margherita in Belice is no the birthplace of your Maria or Giovannina or Santo or Carmela... and I searched also and nothing of interesting came up...
the right birthplace is Santa Margherita of Messina... the right Maria surname is D'Astro and not La Rosa as you said in previous postings...
I know not abt a italian website of Messina where to post the pictures that you have..
sorry..
