I am looking for any information pertaining to my great great grandfather -Antonio Messina of Palermo, Sicily.
Parents: Joseph Messina and Maria Busalacchi DOB: Aug 3rd, 1868 Spouse: Maria Balistrieri. I am not sure if they married in Italy or the US. My guess is they married in Italy, due to the timing of my GGF's birth (1908). Traveled to the US around 1908 (according to the ship manifest). According to a 1930 Census, he and his family lived in San Franciso, Ca.
I have found an Antonio Messina on two seperate ship manifest (via ancestry.com). One into New Orleans and one into NY. I tried searching ellisisland.com and was not able to find anything for an Antonio Messina. :/
If this 1910 census is correct, then Antonio and Maria Messina were in San Francisco before 1908,
