Hello. Looking for the birth town of my great-grandmother Carmella Papa(maiden name) Bartolomeo or Carmella Papa DiBartolomeo. She was born in the early 1880's in a town near Naples, that is all we know. I believe she married DiBartolomeo in Italy and had my grandmother Giovanna? in Italy.

If is the correct family, the son Raffaeli( Raffaele) was the second son named so; because I found a death record abt a previous Raffaele Di Bartolomeo died in Philadelphia in 1909:

I am guessing my grandmother Giovanna's parents, her mother Carmela and father Guiseppe were born in this town as well.

I thought you might like to be aware that Stella Cilento civil vital records from 1866 - 1929 can now be found at the following url:
https://familysearch.org/search/image/index#uri=https://familysearch.org/recapi/sord/collection/1947713/waypoints
Unfortunately most of the records are mixed in with the town of Sessa Cilento, but it is not hard to find the ones for Stella Cilento at the beginning of each group of records. Also a few years of Stella Cilento records are found listed under Porcili because that was the original name of the town.
