Marandola from castelnovo parano

Post by cmarandola »

Hi I'm looking for any information on tracing my genealogy. My grandfather was born in Castelnovo Parano around 1898 and emigrated to the United states around 1900.
I am looking for any information on how to proceed to find out more.
Thanks

Welcome to IG website I would start with census in the US and work my way back with the shipmanifest If you leave some names and US locations we could help you with a start in your quest

Hi Marty,
My grandfathers name was Michael Marandola, his fathers name was Pasquale Marandola. He was born in Castelnovo Parano Italy around 1897 and came to the US around 1900. I think his mothers name was Maria civita Marandola. This is all I could find from census and searching. He lived in Rhode Island (Cranston) and many of his brothers and sister were from Scituate Rhode Island, Pippin Orchard Road. His wife was Virginia Macera.
Thank you for any help
