Translations Appreciated

Postby skooter555 » 14 Aug 2013, 00:19

Hi,

I would appreciate it if the following marriage records could be translated for some of my ancestors from the town of Bagheria in Palermo. It would also be appreciated if the hour of marriage and the names, ages, and occupations of the informants/witnesses could be provided. I have provided a link to these uploaded images on my mundia.com account being that it does not allow me to upload them on this website.

Thanks,
Tyler Radtke

I am pretty sure that you may need to create a free account to view the records, but if you want I could e-mail them to you? My e-mail address is skooter111996@gmail.com

I'm sorry, but I cannot have records for translation emailed to me. Also I do not want to sign up for a free account, so someone else on the forum will have to help you.

In that case, do you know how to upload a picture not as a url? I have some records that I saved to my flash drive from the microfilm ordered from my local family history center, and I am not seeing an option to upload an image from my computer.

Thanks Marty for your idea to use an image sharing site!

If anyone is willing to translate these records it would be appreciated if the hour of marriage and the names, ages, and occupations of the informants/witnesses could be provided.

Thanks again!

Sorry the images did not upload correctly! If you right click on the particular record and choose the option to open in another window then you will be able to fully see the image in its full extent.

Heres a marked copy of Silvestre Caltagirone marriage promise so you can try to do one
There are 2 pages to these marriage promise records page 2 is the witnesses to the signing of the act which most of the time are not relatives just witnesses
