Birth Certificate translation

Postby ray1955 » 11 Sep 2013, 01:51

Caltanissetta_Sicily_Italy_Civil_Registration_Records.jpg
I see on the attached birth certificate but if I look at the left column I am seeing one name on the top left
and near bottom looks like my grandfather Spoto, Antonino and his father is Giusepi however yo spell it
and his mom I am looking to find her name but can't find it or I just can't read the document.
I believe someone took the actual document online or paper copy and photographed it when printed it prints really small can't read it even if I could read Italian.

Can someone interpret this for me? is only the male listed on the birth certificate.
I was told these two people were the parents of my grand father. This would be great proof.

thanks,
Grazie,

Until Marty gets the annotated image going... you can see the mother's name here -

Looking at the birth record -
On line 9 you can see

Translates:
Bellini street, no number, to Rosalia Alacchi his legitimate wife of age 23, a spinner, residing with him.
